Sarah went off to her first prom Friday night. Sigh.

My, little miss I cannot be bothered to dress neatly to go to school showed up looking like a glamourous flapper straight from the roaring 20s complete with feathers in her hair. I bet she turned a few heads. Sarah - Sarah who? I think, from listening to the playback, our comfortable little world that did not include boys has been put up on the shelf for us to long wistfully over and the time has come for Sam to brush up on his shotgun skills.
That sums it up quite nicely. Atta girls Sarah. You were the Bee's knees and it is none of our beeswax if any boy cashed in.....

WOW Miss Sarah looks adorable!! What no boys banging on the door yet?!!! I am surprised! Even after raising three girls I survived! I suggest a lot of interaction, and honesty!

The "lady" is my good friend Carol Bordoni. An hell of a lady who is also from New York and 80 years young. Since Carol lives across the street from the conservatory, it is there I wait for Sarah three times a week. Carol let Sarah spend the night and helped her dress and showed her how to walk in high heels. I don't know who had more fun Friday, Carol or Sarah! Seriously.
And maeve/marilyn... as for the boys... she is only 15!
Well at 15 she could be interested! I LOVE that dress. A pretty girl in a spiffy dress!!
